Contractors and homeowners agree that the foundation of a home is the most important part but, it is also the most neglected. Getting A Great Gazebo

Beautiful Gazebo With Column Wraps

Beautiful Gazebo With Column Wraps

Tired of that old looking gazebo where you once loved to spend time? Well here are some ideas to fix that old gazebo of yours. First off determine whether or not the post and deck wood are all still in good shape because nobody would like to work hard on their project only to step on it and put a hole in the deck. After checking out the wood and cleaning up a bit take a look at where the gazebo is and how it complements the surrounding area. Observe the colors and textures in order to get a better idea on what you can do in your back or front yard. Usually, exterior design calls for exterior materials like stone or wood but now you have an alternative that enables you to have the best of both worlds at a fraction of the cost.

Gazebos are a highly visible and dominant element in any setting. Imitation stone products can revitalize the way the gazebo looks. I remember the Gazebo at my church and saw how central it was to the social atmosphere of the guests. It was the focal point before the service where people went to talk or grab a little food. The gazebo started to chip over time and the paint was cracking. After a while it really looked like it was in bad disrepair and painting it over again was not working so they tore it down. Fortunately, this could have been avoided had the right material been applied to the project such as imitation stone or brick which would have made the gazebo look new.

When people look at the Gazebo their eyes naturally fall upon the bottom section which is usually exposed. The bottom section or skirting, which is commonly the section that shows the age of the structure. This provides an eyesore and a place for rodents and bugs to hide and make their home. By using a skirting or siding you can fix the eyesore in under a day. All of these problems discussed above can be fixed with a design element that has flooded the home improvement industry due to its large variety of applications. It is called polyurethane which is a hardened resin that turns into beautiful realistic faux stone, brick or any form of architectural elements is the answer to the old gazebo problem.

Being creative is easy when it comes to using faux stone or brick especially since you can now solve aesthetic issues and make your gazebo look brand new. A simple application of faux siding can revitalize the gazebo of your dreams. Making a once boring ugly eye sore into a peaceful zone of Zen is easy by using faux stone or brick. Using the faux stone siding not only covers that ugly gap underneath the gazebo but gives the full effect of a stone foundation. This design can not only give the appearance of a stone foundation but also brighten the look of your gazebo.

Faux stone or brick provides a great way to avoid buying a new gazebo because enables you to get a new look with a more professional finish. Check out this link HERE in order to view the great difference faux veneer panels can provide. Since the gazebo is providing the frame for the panels to be applied to this drastically reduces the time of the project which means you will be finished in a fraction of the time. Enjoy your gazebo and have fun.

Quick And Affordable Stone Veneer Panels Makeover.

Posted on March 5, 2013

Changing the look of your home without using regular veneer is not a real possibility with faux veneer panels.

Let's take as an example a home in a nice neighborhood surrounded by other homes which look very similar. The owners of this home, as many others, would love to do something to their place to make it look a bit different from the others. Something that will make it stand out.

stacked stone siding panels

Wainscoting Stacked Stone Charcoal For Siding

Today’s design trends seem often to point toward adding some kind of stone veneer or stacked stone look, either to the whole façade or just

on an accent wall.

To create such look there are few options that are not necessarily affordable.
There are different types of siding that come in vinyl, aluminum or wood, neither of which has a long lasting charm. Many of these will change color, fade, mold or distort. Also, such materials are not going to make the home look much different from the others in the same neighborhood.

There is also the option of using stacked stone or brick but these are definitely expensive, particularly if you hire someone to put them up. One material that combines a large number of advantages and strong characteristics is stone veneer panels in durable resin.
When applying these 36 x 48 stone veneer panels as a wainscoting the homeowner and the installers have a very easy job in front of them.

These faux veneer panels can be put up directly over an existing surface, as in existing siding, plywood and even vapor barrier. Antico Elements’ Stone veneer panels come with a number accessories like concrete ledge trim that can be applied at the top of each panel to protect the wall from being infiltrated with water and ice.

The cost of the panels might be comparable to other stacked stone materials but the real big saving is in the cost of installation, since it takes just a few minutes per panel to completely install it and be done with it.

Porch in Miami, FL redesigned with Faux Stone.

Posted on July 12, 2012

Today we would like to bring to your attention an new set of photos coming from a project in Miami, Florida, that used our faux stone.

You will probably be as surprised as we are every time we see a finished project. This type of stone can really make part of the home, or the entire building, look like a mansion overnight.

Let's take a look at this before picture. It was surely an already nice an cozy place to live but the owners wanted something different. They knew what look would go well with the porch but didn't want to spend a fortune to get to that point. After a few click they found Antico Elements in the list of expensive alternatives.

This project was almost completed on a Saturday and maybe a couple of hours on Sunday. We have a local crew that is very familiar with the product so they know how to install it quickly and take care of the details. All done in about a full day of work.

One of the best quality of panels of imitation stone is its flexibility and ability to use it as replica stone siding. You can go from dressing up a porch, turn the corner and use them as siding.

Just in, stacked stone panels to reface a home facade.

Posted on June 29, 2012

We just received some photos and great compliments on this project.

This customer was not sure about using regular stone products to reface his family home. The main concern was the weight and thickness of other stone materials.

Some stone products on the market are quite heavy and require a particular preparation of the surface to be able to handle the additional weight.
The way most homes are built today, walls are designed to accommodate for just vinyl siding and not other types of faux stone siding.

Some builders and homeowners consider cultured stone. In many cases they choose that route because they are not aware of Antico Elements stacked stone panels. Cultured stone is very similar to natural or cast stone. They are constructed with heavy aggregates and are still available in small pieces which make the installation a long process.

In the beautiful home before all the above hurdles have been avoided. This construction had a very plain vinyl siding materials that did not provide the look the owners were looking for. Let's face it, we all have seen vinyl siding up-close and know how fake it looks.
Vinyl siding also doesn't provide the thermal insulation that stone siding in polyurethane can. Many don't realize it but the cost of installing a better material to cover your facade will save you money in utilities.

The customer was very excited when he first saw the samples and even more when the project was completed. The charm of faux stone can be added with a short weekend of work while staying within your budget. You will have the best looking house in the neighborhood.
